To Tell x The Distance Between Us Is Too Far - Residency & Performance at University of California, Santa Barbara
As part of UCSB’s Locker Residency, I created a site specific performance that worked in tandem with my installation.
The installation dealt with themes of proximity, emotional distance and sound perception narrated though text and text parameters.
The date of my performance coincided with Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As a local to the area, I was well aware of the lack of documentation concerning Black Communities in the area. I took it upon myself to use this performance as a way to workshop and educate history through sound and body.

8 Text Scores Written For Anyone Who May Read Them - Seoul, Korea
These text scores were created with no on and everyone in mind. While in Myeongdong for work, I grew fascinated people never engaging with one another.
This inspired me to write a series of text scores, growing more delicated & intimate in both contents and size of the score itself over time.
On my last walk in Myeongdong, I placed these in areas that are accessible, as well as areas you’d only be if you were looking for something to be found.
I don’t know the outcome of this, nor am i supposed to. This was meant to be performed once, or never.
